RABC
Celebrating 25 Years

A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS:

FIT FOR LIFE!

we are far more than a boxing club - we are a valuable Community Hub, helping to support & develop all in the community to be Fit4Life in so many ways.

Rawthorpe Amateur Boxing Club (RABC) was founded on 31st October 1998, delivering fitness & boxing training at Rawthorpe High School for young people in the community; this not only teaches them the art of boxing but also teaches them the disciplines of life and how to respect themselves & others, giving youngsters the vital support that is sometimes missing from their lives.

The club is run entirely on a voluntary basis and offers many different types of coaching sessions, often for children who  who otherwise may fall into bad habits and bad company; thus providing them with a true sense of community, a sense of belonging and learning to respect themselves and others.

A key focus of RABC is community cohesion within the estates around the area, as well as travelling to areas where our boxers compete around the county.

We  do a lot of important work with all within our community and deliver to schools and colleges, offering a wide range of initiatives to help support students.

We are now based in a 3-storey mill at Bridge Croft, Milnsbridge.  A purpose built facility to support the community, and we are thrilled to be celebrating our 25th year during 2023.

Date for your diary!  RABC Boxing Club, will be holding a 25 years Anniversary Celebration on Saturday the 28th October from 6pm at our premises.  Full details will follow over the next few weeks.  Inviting ex boxers / coaches / parents and members who have been part of our journey over the last 25 years.  If any have photos from the last 25 years can you please send them to markleftjab@hotmail.co.uk as putting together a booklet to showcase the history of RABC Boxing Club.
